Donna ( Owner )

Hi Everyone I am Donna the owner of Pony Pals Club and all the wonderful ponies here.

I set Pony pals up 10 years ago and we are still going strong today. I love to teach children how to ride and also seeing the smiles on kids faces and the joy that the ponies and unicorns of pony pals give the kids and the parents I enjoy working with the volunteers and helping them become young people who have confidence with working with people and animals. I also love Working with children with sen they are so responsive to the ponies and the joy on their faces lights up my world. I look forward to meeting you when you come to meet myself and all my pony fiends here at pony pals club.

Wayne ( Owner )

Hi my name is Wayne! I am owner of pony pals club. I’ve been with horses my whole life, so I do have quite a lot of knowledge. I drive the pony’s and unicorns to their birthday party’s. I also drive them to your lessons. I love being out with the ponies and the unicorns and meeting loads of fantastic people. I love the business that my wife has built here. It’s made so many memories and so many dreams come true. I love seeing the joy the ponies and unicorns bring to everyone.

Jessica ( Manager )

Hi my name is Jessica and I am Donna and Waynes daughter, I’ve been working for Pony Pals Club since I was 13 and I have seen so many people succeed with the teaching they receive with us. The staff and ponies are amazing and all very friendly. My favourite thing about working for my family is that I get to see and be part of making children happy when their dreams about riding a pony or unicorn come true. I have my own horse who is used at Pony Pals Club (Troy) he is a special pony to me and the fact I can share the joy I receive from riding him with others is an amazing feeling. When not working at Pony Pals Club all of the staff and volunteers spend more time with each other as we are all one big family. Pony Pals Club is an amazing place full of magic and laughter.

Alfie

My name is Alfie and my parents own Pony Pals Club. I’m 13 years old and been riding since I was 1 year old. I’m so lucky as I get to ride and compete most ponies that are with us. I have done lots of competitions and Pony Clubs over the years but my favourite by far is jumping. I ride everyday and I’m always on the yard no matter the time of day or weather. Pony Pals Club is my home and my happy place. I’m home educated so every day I am on the yard out with the horses. I’ve made lots of friends with the leaders that come to volunteer here. As the staff and volunteers are all friends (more like family) at Pony Pals Club we also go for days out and spend quality time together which is such a fun way to relax after work. Some examples of what we have done is roller skating trips and to theme parks. I help my parents a lot and my favorite place to be is in the saddle.

Meet Our Volunteers

Jasmine-Kali Townsend

My name is Jasmine-Kali, I have been with Pony Pals Club for nearly 3 years and it’s been the most amazing experience. I’ve been riding for nearly 3 years but I learnt how to ride within 5 days. (My pony didn’t really give me an option). The best thing about helping at Pony Pals Club is working with all the children and watching them grow as riders. My favourite thing is going to birthday parties and making the children’s dreams become reality. There’s nothing else I rather do than being with all the customers and ponies. My favourite thing is cake and music, wherever there’s music, I’m there! I’m really good with S.E.N.D children as I have a positive mindset and leave a positive impact on all of the children. Every child I work with I end up having a special bond with which I absolutely adore.
