Meet the Fabulous Ponies of Pony Pals Club!
BLACKIE
Blackie is a 33 year old Shetland and the best pony in the saddle and on the ground. He has been with the Pony Pals family for 20 years starting as our youngest daughter’s first pony attending local shows and Pony Club.
Blackie was a real rosette machine! He was one of the first ponies at Pony Pals Club after being out grown by the owners children. He has been giving lessons for 10yrs since pony pals club started, teaching hundreds of children to ride from beginner sessions to hacking, jumping lessons, gymkhana and even local shows with customers.
Blackie really is a star. He loves a groom and a bath and loves all the attention from all the young children. Blackie can carry up to 3 stone in weight due to now being semi retired and having an old man’s back.
CASPER
Casper is 10 Years old and 12 Hands. Casper joined pony pals club team in the summer of 2022 with his brother Olaf, they came as a pair of lead rein ponies and will step up for the beginner off lead lessons.
Casper loves to jump and especially likes pole work, handy pony and anything to keep his mind busy. Casper is not just used on lessons but he also goes to events and fetes festivals and much more! He is a loveable boy who will always capture the hearts of anyone that meets him with his cheeky personality.
Caspers weight limit is 8 stone.
DOLLY DAY DREAM
Dolly is 12 years old and has been with Pony Pals club since 2018. Dolly has achieved everything that has been given to her from competitions with the owners, to lessons with children and riding with leaders.
Dolly has a soft spot for Polos and will become your best friend for one of those special treats! She is a loveable pony with lots of sass and knows exactly how to do her job with that diva stride!
Dolly’s weight limit is 10 stone.
JOHNNY
Johnny is 10 years old and a new member of the Pony Pals club.
He joined the team at the end of the summer 2022 and he is a great little jumper who is full of character and knows exactly what he wants.
He is a great little lead rein pony and great to handle on the ground. Johnny loves a bath and groom and he loves getting cuddles from all the children.
Johnny can carry up to 6 Stone in weight.
OLAF
Olaf is 11.2 hands and 10 years old. He joined Pony Pals club team with his brother Casper in the summer 2022.
Olaf loves his job and is a great lead rein pony and will step up for those just come off lead rein. He loves to follow Casper and when working together they love to be near each other. When working separate he doesn’t worry Casper isn’t there and really shows his individual personality. Olaf has done weddings birthdays and christenings. He really is a special pony that loves lessons and teaching the children to ride.
Olaf’s weight limit is 6 stone.
TAROT
Tarot is 21 Years old and has been with pony pals club since we opened 10 years ago. He was one of the owners first ponies and he really is a real Cross Country and Jumping Machine and used to taking the owner’s son through camps and competitions and bringing home hundreds of rosettes and trophies.
Tarot has taught thousands of children to ride. He is a little quicker on his toes but still a great lead rein pony who can step up for more experienced riders, he is the perfect all rounder.
Tarot loves to hack especially at new places, he loves a bath and loves lots of children around him giving him lots of attention. Tarot is also used at Parties, Events, Fetes and much more.
Tarot has a weight limit of 4 stone.
TITAN
Titan is 20 years old and has been at pony pals since we opened 10 years ago. He was one of the owner’s children their first pony, going to local shows, Pony Club, Cross Country, Summer Camps and much more.
Titan loves teaching lessons and gets especially excited for jumping.
Titan is a very special pony and a celebrity! If you didn’t know, he has starred in Cinderella, done lots of stage work and also works as a therapy pony in care homes. He really brightens up everyone’s day. Titan is also our Party and Events star and is a magical unicorn called Twilight Titan for all Birthdays, Fetes, Events and much more.
Titan can carry up to a weight of 4 stone
TOBY
Toby is 15 Years old and 12.2 Hands and has been part of Pony Pals Club for 5 Years.
Toby was one of the owners children’s 2nd pony, he enjoyed competing at Pony Club, Local Competitions, Camp, Dressage, Gymkhana, Point-to-Point Racing and Beach Riding.
As the owners grew too big for Toby, he then joined the Pony Pals team for teaching lessons. He is a great pony for lead rein up to advance riders, jumping, hacking and dressage. Toby really can turn his hooves to most things but can find loud noises overwhelming so he has special earplugs and hat to wear.
Toby’s weight limit is 7.5 stones.
TROY
Troy is 15 years old and 15 hands. He has been with the family since he was 2 years old and is one of the original Pony Pals Club member.
Troy is the perfect pony that has competed in Jumping, Cross Country and Dressage. He will always step up or down to the rider’s capabilities depending on experience of the rider. Troy will always give you kisses if you offer him a treat!
He may be one of the bigger ponies but deep down he is the softest most loveable boy.
Troy’s weight limit is 12 stone.
FIFI
Fifi is 10 Years old, 12.2 hands and joined us in November 2022. She is a really great pony to handle, groom and really loves a cuddle.
Fifi is still in training to be available for lessons and possibly will earn her unicorn horn in the future too!

TOMMY
Tommy is 7 years old and 13 hands. He is one of our newest members as he joined us in October 2022.
Tommy is an all round pony who not only can he be ridden but he can also can pull a cart.
He is the most loveable boy with the most beautiful mane you ever will see.
Tommy has just started out with lessons and is showing how well behaved he is with his beautiful strides.
Tommy’s weight limit is 11 stone.
